Are you planning to attend one of the most popular pool parties at night in Las Vegas? Knowing what to wear for Nightswim on Sunday at XS, EBC (Encore Beach Club) at Night, or Sundays at Marquee nightclub is important. Swimwear is encouraged and allowed at these events, which are pool parties held after hours.

Dress Code Rules for Night Swim Events in Las Vegas

All venues enforce the dress code. Dress code policies are strictly enforced by management.

Night Swim Dress Code Overview

  • Swimwear or cover-ups that are appropriate for the weather and/or temperature are required.
  • Shorts and flip-flops are allowed
  • Swimwear is not permitted to include underwear
  • No indecent, risque, or see-through clothing or swimwear
  • The European style of sunbathing cannot be done
  • The guests are not allowed to swim in full clothing

 

What You Can Wear to Night Pool Parties in Las Vegas

 

The night swims are relaxed, enjoyable, and centered around the pool. Dress code is casual and reflects the fact that guests are encouraged to jump in the pool. What is permitted?

  • Swim trunks, one-piece suits, and bikinis
  • T-shirts or tank tops
  • Shorts
  • Cover-ups and pool wraps
  • Sneakers, flip-flops, and heels.
  • All bags, including small bags and purses, are subject to a search at the entrance.

It is important to note that you should not bring liquids or medications unless they are medically required. Typically, these items are confiscated during security screening.

For Men

  • Swim trunks
  • T-shirts or tank tops
  • Sandals, flip-flops, or clean sneakers

For Women

  • Swimsuits or bikinis
  • Cover-ups or stylish swimwear
  • Shoes, heels, wedges, or sandals

Most venues accept standard nightclub attire if you don’t plan to swim or don’t want to wear a swimsuit. Wear something stylish and upscale, like what you’d wear in a top Vegas nightclub.

What Not to Wear at Nighttime Pool Events

Avoid the following clothing items to avoid being refused entry.

Not Allowed for Men

  • Athletic apparel or sports jerseys
  • Basketball shorts
  • Undershirts, or “wifebeaters”, are also known as undershirts.
  • Hats are not permitted (unless the venue allows it)

Not Allowed for Women

  • Sheer or see-through outfits without covering
  • Lingerie and underwear as outerwear
  • Clothing that is inappropriate for public venues

Casino Dress Code Reminder

You’ll have to pass through the resort or casino area first, as all pool parties take place within hotel properties. In public areas, each hotel has a dress code.

  • Men are required to wear a shirt inside the property
  • When walking in hotel rooms, women must cover up their swimsuits.
