You must be at least 21 years old to attend any Las Vegas nightclub or Las Vegas pool party. There are no exceptions.
The most common question from visitors to the United States, particularly international visitors, is: What forms of ID will be accepted?
Security checks each guest’s photo ID at the entry of any nightclub in Las Vegas. A valid, current ID card is therefore required for every visitor. These are the main rules to follow:
Acceptable Photo Identification
- Driver’s Licenses or DMV identification cards issued in the United States of America, Canada, England and Ireland
- If there is no missing page, lamination, writing, or expiration.
- Military ID Card
- Mexico Voter ID Cards
Photographic Identification is Prohibited:
- Mexico Matricula (current or older) Consular ID
- All IDs stamped with “Not for identification”
- Students ID cards
- Age Cards
- Paper ID
- International Drivers License/Document unless “Accepted Above”
- Missing pages, passports with handwriting, those that have expired or were issued to a person under 18 years of age, and/or ones in which the expiration date is not clearly stated are all unacceptable.
