Diplo is not your average DJ. Diplo has more fingers in pies than a contestant at a pie-eating contest and collaborates with some of the most prominent names in electronic music. He is not only a member of Major Lazer but also collaborates with other groups, including LSD with Sia and Silk City with Mark Ronson. Jack U, a group with Skrillex, was formed by him. Diplo’s popularity and exposure were mainly due to his work with M.I.A. when he first entered the music scene. He was found DJing at Fabric in London, a very popular club. They then hired him to work on several projects with them, including the song “Paper Planes which soared to number four on the charts at its height.
Diplo gained momentum in the music industry by collaborating with other major artists from the electronic and house genres. He has performed at numerous concerts and shows with Major Lazer, Jack U, and at Coachella 2016. He worked with Justin Bieber on “Where Are U Now?”, which was also awarded a Grammy by the Skrillex-Diplo duo. Diplo performs his famous tracks at XS Nightclub. He fits in with the other heavy-hitters who perform there.
